Thank you Harrison!! I actually stole that from our 40g Breeder. It was a rock that Michael picked out for him and now I have it....hehehe!!! I owe him big time for that one...LOL.

How is the Mod working for ya. Do you have any other pics or a link to the mod you did. Why I ask is I just receved a Aquapod 24 with stand just like yours. A friend gave it to me. I was somewhat suprized by the deal. Thank you (Stuntkiteflyer) and Mom. I plan on turnning it into a zoa/shrooms/rics tank for my wife ;);). I wanted to mod it before I set it up. What fittings did you use and did you put a bulk head in the hole you drilled. That space in the back is kinda small. Thanks
PS looking good by the way

Tracy, so far, the mods are working out great. At present, I don't have a bulkhead for the hole I drilled. I do plan on one though. The fittings I've used are sprinkler fittings, found at the store you and I love so much...Home Depot...lol. They're with the Toro "Funny Pipe." I've used a 90 that's barbXMPT and a sprinkler fitting that I removed the guts from. I'm still looking for a slim nut to use on the back side to complete the "bulkhead." For now, I've just placed a Hydor Flo on each of the 2 MJ900s. Eventually, one will be replaced with locline. If I do incorporate a 3rd MJ900, it'll also be used with locline. Here's the link that is my "inspiration." http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1543962 I've also been asking the reefer of that thread a lot of questions and getting great advice!!

WOW thats the hook up. Thanks returnofsid. Just have to find a spot to set it up. Kina worryed about the stand. Looks like it can fall over (top heavy)

That is really starting to look good all you guys keep talking about little tanks and after seeing this one makes me want to figure out how to do this little 2.5 gallon I got. My only problem can't find a light that would fit. So Angie what are you dying to put in there?

Well, Tracy on the stand we decided not to put the legs on it because of the fact that it is top heavy and with a hyper puppy and a 3 1/2 year old in the house, Michael figured it'd be best just sitting on the floor. We did just put some wooden shims under one side because it was uneven. It looks much better now.

Gary and Nicole, I'm dying to put some corals in there!! I will stock it with some fish soon, when funds allow it...lol. The fish stock will be a "herd" of sexy shrimp, as Michael says, and for sure a tail spot blenny. I haven't quite decided what else yet. Maybe some boxer crabs. There pretty cool looking.

We are hoping to get some more pics of the tank in the next day or so. Need to add another rock and move some more out and around. So stay tuned!!

Brandy, we got the 20" Sunpod 1x150W 14KK HQI with 12xLunar lights. It's made my Current. It originally would've came with the 24g, but the light was on back order as well. I'm pretty sure I got the specifications right on that, but Michael will chime in if I didn't....lol.

Are you guys worried about it tipping over? If I got one of these it would be on a carpeted area. Mike was trying to talk me into the one that is being sold used right now, but if we did that, I'd want our clowns and anemone to go in it. Hence me wondering the price of the light...decisions, decisions.

If the stand were put together using the 4 supplied "foot pads," I would worry about it tipping. I left those pads off. Also, It's in a location that's not a well trafficked area of the home. I would worry if it were in an area where it could be easily bumped or walked into, by someone not paying attention.

Not sure what the light fixture would cost you new. As Angie said, it was part of the tank package. As for a pair of clownfish and an anemone, I don't know that I'd suggest any anemone for this sized tank.

My tank is soaking for cleaning as we speak. I will check on the pads. If on, I will remove them. Are yours on carpet???. I have to put mine on carpet. The only other spots I have are by windows.
PS I dont need another tank in the garage.:rolleyes:

Why's that? It would be only the anemone and true perc clowns. Mike wants the anemone out of our 300 gal display as it's becoming adventurous and we don't want to lose any coral.

Well, today we moved a couple rocks out and moved some around. It doesn't look too much different, but that's ok. Here's a pic and yes that is a Zoanthid rock on the bottom left. It's my very first coral. We'll see how it does. Also today we added a split lockline to one of the MJ900's and kept the Hydor in the middle. The flow seems to be ok, but we might change out the MJ900 on the lockline to a MJ1200, just not sure yet. We may add some more corals in a couple days. Enjoy!!
