Just figured i'd throw this up here for sh!ts n giggles. I'm bored. lol.

I'm fairly new to the reef hobby.. My main hobby is in herpetoculture(the study/keeping/breeding of reptiles). Mainly focusing on Green Tree Pythons, Morelia viridis, as well as several native US species. Currently I have a collection of 70ish snakes, as well as a lone turtle(Diamondback Terrapin) and a red phase Bearded Dragon.

Other then them, my hobbies include photography, which i'm also just beginning to apply to the reef hobby. I still haven't gotten the hang of dealing with distortion caused by aquarium walls. Maybe someday i'll figure it out.

Meanwhile, here's some OT eyecandy for yall. Random photos of my GTPs.

Amazing GTP's! My favorite snake by far! I almost got one last year from a breeder in OR but started the tank instead. I've kept many heps over the years since I was about 5-6 years old but since I've been married I've somewhat got out of the hobby. Your pics are amazing! I have a buddy who has a few GTP's and ETB's I believe he breeds them. Are youcurrently breeding yours? If you do give me a shout if you ever decide to sell one.:D

Thanks. :) Glad i'm not the only herper here..

Who was it in OR that you almost bought from?

My biggest female should be breedable next winter, which is what i'm aiming for.. I've had them all since hatchlings, purchased from breeders around the US, mostly friends of mine. Its been a long wait to adulthood. lol.

I don't remember I tried looking for the site but it's been awhile...most were fairly good deals. I found babies going for $175-$200. Not sure what they are going for now. Do you have mostly snakes? I've had a few different chameleons and I really miss having them. I had a pair of Veiled's that bred but the female got out of her cage and I lost her for over three weeks! She was half dead when I found her and died shortly after. I tried to save the eggs but they were not viable...:( I'd love to get a Panther's one of these days they are so cool...:D

What camera and lense did you use?

I have 3 different lenses that I commonly use. A Tamron 90mm macro, a Tamron 28-300 XR Di, and the cheap kit Canon 18-55mm that is actually one of my favorites as far as quality of image goes. And my camera is the Canon Rebel XTi.

Very nice photos, those snakes are beautiful! I used to have a ball python, she was a great pet!
