Ok, so I have a pic that will hopefully upload. The picture is of my alpha and omega frag that has a single polyp growing a second polyp right from its mouth! I have no idea why and didnt realize this was even possible. Has anyone ever seen this before? Im not worried about it because the frag is healthy I just wanted some input.

Yeah, I think its pooping too, OR it got a hold of a piece of nori or seaweed that you may have been feeding the fish?
My zoas get nori every once in a while when they catch it.
They do some pooping once in a while too!

Some zoas actually send out what looks like a streamer to attack other coral. I have seen some of my zoas send out a streamer about 4-5" long from their mouth.

Ok, it is not poop, lol. I may not know a lot of things but I do know that for a fact. I know that it is a polyp growing from the mouth or almost on top of it if its not actually "from the mouth". I was just curious if anyone has ever seen this? Like I said before, not concerned at all just was sharing and curious how rare this phenomenon is. I'll see if I cant get a better pic and post it up, I realize that the quality is low.

Oh, wow...that is odd! Pretty cool though!

The polyps look different. They dont look like the skirt of a zoa.
