do i get the same bulbs that i have, or do you sujest something better,also where is the best place to get them, thanks so much....

Hellolights has some good prices but there are so many places to choose from. I would pick the light setup you want then find the seller with the best prices to you location. My vote is for
Aquamedic actinic 03 color temperature for the T5 and Radium 20k HQI 150w for the MH. Someone had a link to a site you could look at pictures taken under many types of lights but I can not find it at the moment. I have not seen any 4k MH bulbs for fish tanks. If that is a 4K that’s in there, IMO that is the main source of your algae. Anything less than 6.5k tends to grow lots of algae, that’s why we don’t use house type lights in our tanks except for things like algae scrubbers. I think the average house type bulb is around 4k for soft light and 6k for day light. I could be wrong on that but I think that is fairly accurate.
