Ok so 2 days ago this hair thin algae shows up in my tank on a couple of my coral well it is starting to agrevate me and the coral. What's the best way to get rid of it. I tried to post pick but not working and photobucket link giving errors.

Hello,
Algae is a sign of elevated nutrient levels. One way to reduce nutrient levels is by performing a 15-25% or so water change every 2-4 weeks. If you are using mineral free water IE distilled or DI the main source of nutrients will be from food or additives you put in. Starvation of the algae is the best and only permanent solution although herbivores can help keep it at bay. Tangs and Rabbitfish will eat the most by volume.

Regards,
Kevin
