Have you tried sharpening and playing with color temp in photoshop? I have a terrible time getting the whitebalance right but have a much better time correcting after the fact although I am still a long way off from producing decent pics.

no I use mostly curves, and Levels and crop thats it
I am still lacking the tripod.
If I used one I'm sure I could get WAY better pics..

It all depends on your style of monitor, resolution, and how big you made the photo. I keep most of mine around 800 or 900 pixels wide, or no more then 800 tall. On my monitor that takes up less then 1/3rd, but I have a widescreen monitor.

that's what I do in PS I make the largest number 800 and have it resize proportionally ..so I am getting the right size pics!
I had a problem a while back with photobucket posting HUGE pics even after I shrunk them
But It seam that all is well now!

one of my best yet
