Reef Aquarium & Tank Building Forum

Help Support Reef Aquarium & Tank Building Forum:

Hey Jason, in about two months my Dad will be looking for someone who can remove some mostly light scratches and a couple nicks from his tank and can baffle his existing sump and build a new additional sump/refugium for him. It is a 255 gallon peninsula located on Mercer Island. The acrylic is 1" thick. Is this something he can talk to you about?

Thank you,

Shawn,

You may have him contact me. I can help him out with it. Have him e-mail me at [email protected].

Thanks, Jason

Jason, good luck to you my friend!

I am sorry that things didnt work out. life is tough and sometimes hard decisions have to be made in order to take care of your family.

thanks for the opportunity!!!

Matt

I just finished with the first day of fabrication. Knocked the rust off (Me), and made some good progress. Wiring up machines this week, and should be 85% before the week is up. Thank you all for your support!

I have been taking orders this week, with the agreement of a 3-4 week delivery time. I still have to fine tune all the machines and such. It's looking good, and can't wait to fill family rooms around the country with aquatic bliss.

E-mail or PM is still best,
Jason

Update!

Got some of my equipment up and running, and started the first tank in the new diggs. Just like riding a bike. Got the body all glued up, and machined out the top, sanded and polished the top. This tank has an internal wet/dry, so now it will get interesting. This is a very imporntant tank for a Maintaince Client, he has been waiting way too long for this bad boy. I will take some pic's tomarrow.

This Thursday morning I should have power to all the big equipment! Will be nice to turn on any machine whenever I need to. No more extension cords! The layout will change a little, and will be in shop heaven!

Just bought a used tank made by Jason a couple years ago and I can't believe the craftsmanship and attention to detail. I am safely assuming it will last me many years to come. Glad to see you back in the saddle.

How's that new shop treating you Jason? Hope that you have a very prosperous year for 2011. Do you do any shop tours? :D

Cheers,
Alex

Alex,

I can do shop tours. Just make an appointment. Running a business isn't all fun and games, but I'm there quite a bit. Getting material, making sure we have post it notes, and staples. Keeping order, you know...
Will be working on super shop lights, and sunglasses for the shop guys next. Keep you all posted! Jason

Guy's and gal's,

I wanted to drop some news on everyone. I broke a bone in my left hand last week, had to have surgery, and I now have 2 cool ss pins keeping my hand on strait. Not to worry, just going to a little longer on everyone's orders. No fun trying to build stuff with one hand. Merely a flesh wound! I'd post some pictures, but this is a PG rated forum. Keep everyone posted. Thanks, Jason

Hmm....so you can build reactors and skimmers? What about sumps?

Sorry to hear about your hand.

Reeflogic, I build everything aquarium related, except things that require acrylic tube. (skimmers, and reactors and stuff). The people who build the best stuff, do tons of R&D, and I just can't compete, nor will I. I order whatever people want. Matt, built some of that (stuff) in the dark year, but I don't. Sorry, Jason

But sump yes right? So if I give you dimensions can you assist?
