DT is an acronym for display tank. welcome to acronym hell, however not quite as bad as at work. you should try and post a couple of those videos so people sort of get and idea of what you are trying to acheive
The sump is going to be underneath the second tank. what is DT, might consider that if it will save space. For the lighting I want to play around with LEDs because of there efficiency and some can be submerged. The main tank which is where i might have to compromise on the lighting, I wan't it to have visibility from the top and I don't want the view of the other two tanks to be obstructed. I was picking loohunters brain today (like allways)about how far I can place the lighting from the main tank, looks like the height of the tank is some thing I have to consider. there are going to be two separate stands, I want to be able to rearrange the setup.
I haven't had an opportunity to make drawings so it's all in my head at the moment. as soon as I do I'll post them to gather Ideas and suggestions. I have a lot to research and study, i'm looking at making rock, modifying and/or making the two small tanks, a custom glass tank and possibly making my own LED lights... and..... and..... and I'm starting to see my bank account vanish :faint: o well I'll just have to stop eating.
