Greetings and Happy Monday to you all. My name is Ken, and I found this Forum via Aquarium Solutions in Spokane Wa. I live in Post Falls, ID. I have a BioCube 29 that has been up and running since Dec 27. I've been in this hobby for about 20 years off and on. Have had some success, and plenty of failure. Speaking of failure....I just lost a fish that I purchased just this past Saturday. No signs, no warning....was swimming around fine last night and eating like a pig, and this am, listless, breathing hard, just struggling to survive. Sad morning indeed.

Anyway, looking forward to meeting you all, and again, Happy Monday!

Welcome to Reef Frontiers! Aquatic Dreams is in Post Falls. You should take a water sample there & have it tested. Kevin is very knowledgeable about our hobby. He posted on his website that his store is pending sale. You should talk to him while you still can.

I do go to Aquatic Dreams to get water....never ran into Kevin there yet! I will head there today and have my water tested again. I've heard in another forum that it's very difficult to get a PH reading that is correct due to it changes quickly once out of the tank? So by time I got a water sample to the LFS, it's going to read differently.....not sure I understand that one.

Kevin went back to work at his old job. Best chance of running into him is on the weekend. Sales were just not enough which is why his business is up for sale.

I went there yesterday and talked to his wife, and yea, it's sold.....they expect to be open until end of April, new owner is moving everything to Spokane Valley.....not happy.
