Since ORA is on such a roll with their new corals I will use this thread to announce their new releases.

The latest is called Bird of Paradise and it begins shipping this week. Enjoy!

Angie and I picked up the Birds of Paradise Seriatopora from you guys while in Seattle, over the weekend. It's got amazing color!!! I'll get a pic of ours posted soon!!! Even after the long trip home, it was even colored up IN THE BAG!! Right now, I'm experiencing a sand storm in the tank, due to some changes I made, so can't get a good pic.

ORA has just re-released their Purple Nana. It hasn't been available since 2003 when they nearly lost it all to hurricane damage. We'll be getting some in a week or two.

Another new release from ORA. Its called the Frogskin Acropora. It'll probably be a couple weeks before we get our first one.

ORA's Description- "We are introducing a new coral this month, the Frogskin Acropora. This is a beautiful yellowish-green Acropora with an unusual growth pattern. The corallites are stocky and tubular and give the colony a bumpy appearance. As it matures, the lower branches fuse into a solid plate-like form."

when will you guys have the birds of paradise available in the store and how much is it going to cost?

Another new ORA coral being released this month. We don't have any yet but I thought I would share. Its called Blue Iris Acropora.

Another new ORA Coral. This one is called the Ice Tortuosa. I guess a few people were saying they thought it was a re-release of their Blue Tort with a new name. Its not. Here is Dustin's explanation of what makes this Tort different.

This photo is Glass Box's Hypothetical of the coral under 20K lighting as ORA's pics are all taken under natural sunlight.

it isn't a coral, BUT ORA should have Mandarin Dragonettes (green and target....maybe red scooters, too) available....someday, it sounds like they are still a few months away. rest assured we WILL have these when they become available to the public. sweet news none the less.........
