Hey bud,I don't want to bust up a good thing. Not sure what kind of tank you are going for, but those things growing are AiPTASIA, a genetically designed cyborg of awuarium doom. Great if you are raising Berghia. Once you get an outbreak like that it is hard to get rid of them.

That was me five months ago, pulled everything but the fish and filterout of the tank, bleached the rocks, and purchased new live rocks and sand.
after a bumpy nitrate cycle, started adding corals from the Frag swap. All has been good.
Not the recommended method but it's working so far.
Good luck.

The rock is full of bristleworms has some mushrooms and other little creatures on it.

Those things will pretty much sting anything they come in contact with from what I understand. That's crazy you have a few hundred and think they are cute :p.

OK I will quit with this now. I was just messin with you. This is a tank in my garage that I picked up pretty cheap. I mainly bought it for the skimmer and the rock. It is filled with Aiptasia so I put two Berghia in there to clean it up. They really have there work cut out for them. I have seen so many people post a pic of how well their tank is doing and seeing it full of these little nasties I just had too do this :)

Haha!! Well, we did have a member here a few years ago all excited to finally get his first coral which was aiptasia. When he found out what it was he was crushed :p

Krish, this 29 gallon tank has so many in it that it is amazing when you start looking close. They are everywhere.

This must be an oblique reference to my tank. I have tons of yellow and green aiptasia-like things:

These ones like to grow in branches and clusters. Would peppermint shrimp or berghias take care of these guys?
