mkay, well first off, where are you at? nowhere in USA i guess from your tank specs...
wherever you are, DONT waste the funds on that t5000 shorty, or any AM skimmer for that matter...
for overskimming a 200g tank for cheap, the 2 sicce pump models of SWC skimmers, (both extreme and cone models) is going to totally outskim the AM t.5000, or just about anything aqua medic could throw at it for that matter...lol
were talking about 1800-2800 lph of air for less than 60 watts, a bubble plate to diffuse turbulence, air muffler and submerged wedge outlet for between $480-$720

then there's this sweet little skimmer for a little more cash, almost the same air, slightly more watts, but bigger body, bigger neck, better build quality, and i like the submerged 20 turn gate valve for an outlet.

all of these skimmers are overkill for a 200g unless you feed/stock like crazy, for sps quality water typically i would tell people that between 500-600 lph of air per 100g of tank is a good rule of thumb to follow. the trend to submerged outlets and mufflers means quiet operation, and mesh modded impellers provides you with smaller bubbles for more surface area/waste removal.
but thank god you want to make sure you overskim as opposed to wanting to put up with an octo dnw 200 on a 200g tank
kudos to you!!
