New skin to test..need some help

I created a new skin, its called newreef. I kind of made it for all of you that dont like the Reef skin and are using either the default or the reeffrontiers one. I would like to turn off the reeffrontiers skin and then make this newreef the default one. So if you got some time can you take a peek and see if its good to fly.

Just put the feedback in this thread. for those that dont know how to access it, just go down to the very bottom of any screen and on the lower left you will see a drop down box.

So far I like it. I didn't have any issues with the "old" reef skin though either. The new one scrolls a bit smoother than the original reef one but that never bothered me.

I like it. I liked the old background too, but this is very clean looking and not as busy.
There are a couple drop downs that you can not see, for instance the search field on the members list page. Every here and there I see a drop down arrow, but you can not see the box. They have been that way for quite a while though.
The populated fields at the bottom of the page are hard to read too. Not that any of us ever paid attention to those though!
The (# members and # guests) that are browsing the thread shown in the Thread Information box is hard to read.
All minor stuff.
Anyway, I like it!

the only issue I've found so far is this:

Hover your mouse over Notifications, My Profile, or Log Out and the text disappears. Might need to change the background text to something other than RED so it can be seen.

That's weird Kirk cause ours is a blue background and when you hover over the words you are talking about the words turn red and are still plainly visible on the blue bar background. Do some people see the background as other than primarily blue? Maybe it's a moderator thing

Ok the hover over is fixed, it stays white now. Eric it was the same way for me.

Ok the folks browsing the thread shows well for me, the box thing in the member search I will look for, but I think that one will be a good luck. What populated fields are you talking about??

Well then I guess it was a moderator thing and a head honcho thing then I see them staying white now as well but I could also easily see them when they turned red.

Yea Don the plan is to make this one the default but still have the Reef one for those that like it. Then remove the vbdefault and reeffrontiers..well at least that is the plan. I need a streamline one that looks half decent for seo.

Ya the others give me a head ache. The more grey scale the better for me, but thats just me you gotta do whats best for the masses.

Dam Mike At home here it looks way better than at work, actually better and any of them and this is on a new PC with windows 7 verses an older work computer. It rocks, I can't believe the difference from the work computer!

seriously? its not lavender but still quite offensive to the eye, the dark background color (navy?) and the lighter blue (top of each post) are yutzzz! like mud on coffee grounds lol I do like the quick reply top bar with the swoopy waves its almost modern

Just saw this thread. Didn't change anything, but I'm guessing you changed the default (as it looks different.)

Anyway, I like it. Very clean. I like the original, but this does scroll better.

is anyone else getting this behavior?

change the skin from Reef, default vb, then to vb4 totally default, then back to default vb. Now try to change to newreef.

For me it will not change, stays at default vb.
