Hey, welcome to Reef Frontiers.
Glad you decided to join up. I know there are a few people here with that tank. Check out the "Nano Reefs - Small but Mighty" tank forum. Nano Reefs - The Small But Mighty Tanks
So you want to go bigger. sounds like the addiction has tightened its grip on you early.
Again welcome and any questions just ask.

thanks for the fast response! now as far as being able to private message people, i just need to comment more on threads?

Well, not sure, you may have tried it in the classifieds and that will not work for you yet, however I think you may be able to pm people here in the forum. I sent you a pm. Top of the screen you should see "1" by "Notifications"

cbates,

Welcome to RF !!

You will find the people here to have a good knowledge of the hobby and willing to help.

As far as a newbie, I would suggest (as I do to all newbies) the following book to read:

The Conscientious Marine Aquarist: A Commonsense Handbook for Successful Saltwater Hobbyists (Microcosm/T.F.H. Professional): Robert M. Fenner, Matthew L. Wittenrich, Scott W. Michael, Alf Jacob Nilsen, Christopher Turk: 9781890087999: Amazon.com: Bo

It is well worth the money to have as a book in your Reef Library. I have it and still refer to it even after 18+ yrs in the hobby.

When you have at least 5 posts, pls post some pics...we lovveeee pics... :)

again welcome.
Kirk

Welcome to RF,
We are all waiting to see your tank. so get busy a get some posts under your belt. LOL
What size tank do you want to upgrade to??
What are you keeping in your current tank??

im looking for a tank right around 100 gallons with a smaller sump. fish only so that way i can keep some of the more aggressive fish and not have to worry about my corals. thats what my biocube is for. i will post pics as soon as i can. its my first tank so dont be too harsh, any constructive criticism would be helpful. in the biocube i have it stocked with live sand, about 35lbs of live rock. three firefish gobies, two false clowns. a blue and yelllow damsal. six line wrasse. a hand full of turbo snails, about 20 blue leg hermit crabs. for my corals i have a couple kenyan trees, recordia mushrooms, pulsing xenia, jasmine polyps, leather tree (forget the name) and last a small frag of gsp
