I have an LFS around here but it is for the fat owner to sit on. The place scares me.

iTS a great LFS in Maine like this that gives a boy in S.Dakota the dream that he can do anything!

I live 20 minutes from her and she has an awesome place. I buy all my product from her and she definately knows her stuff... She will ship just about any where and has a great selection of corals, clams and fish. She will not ship fish though. She has them just for local pick up.

Seems like a great place, about how big is it? Looks like its in a two stall garage? I emailed her to show some more shots, but no repsonse yet, lucky you!

If you put couches in my LFS there would be no room to move. Looks nice and spacious. My local fish store is www.toofishy.com. He has a pretty nice selection and just started a 'non reef safe fish' section.

Yes it is a little larger than a 2 stall garage. She is just starting out there. She was in her basement before. It is quite spacious though and she is very knowledgeable. She loves to talk to her customers and make sure they are doing things right. She will not just sell you something to make a buck!! She makes sure you have what you need and can take care of the livestock you purchase before she sells it to you. Like any business she needs to make a profit so it is well worth it to me to shop at her store even if some items cost me more....

Hey PRB, so is her store only Corals and SW fish? Seems like a very nice setup. I would love to see that in my area, i guess ill have to be the one to do it! I guess i scared her away when i sent my email, next time you see her ask her about that wierdo some SouthDakota, lol.
So is her garage attached to her house? My fav LFS is like that, doesnt seem quite as big though, im assuming that garage is not your typical 20x22. Im glad you understand how lucky you are to live in maine and have a great LFS like that

Yes, she only sells Corals, Clams and some fish. She does have liverock and seahorses also... She will order us anything we want as far as that goes. For local pick up on the fish. She does sell some hardware also but pricing is a bit higher than what can be ordered on the internet. I like doing as much as I can with her though. You Know, SUPPORT YOR LOCAL LFS and they will take care of you.....
And yes she has a very nice setup and it will only get better with time.......

Um... Krish.... All you have to do is go outside.... I'm sure you can FIND more stuff in your back yard than most LFS carry! Come on man! Put on the mask and fins..>!!!!
