Well I finnally got my 105mm micro lense last night. I bought the 65mm first and decided that for $450 it wasnt worth the money so I went with the 105 mm micro as Dang (tamarindthai) and Tom (bigt) had suggested. I even found the 105 mm lens on ebay for $100 less then I payed for the 65 mm on ebay.:D
i havent really had a chance to take many pictures with this new lense but I can tell it is much better then the 65mm..

here are a couple of my first shots with it...

My fixed lens on my camera will just have to do(LOL) Great shots though. You can definately tell the difference when comparing to other cameras...Thanks for sharing:)

I need to take some camera classes, I feel like I suck at this:lol:
I just need to learn some of the tricks I guess...

Matt

Well, all jokes aside, they look great to me. The pics are very clear IMO...Not sure how much better they can get unless you are talking about getting up a lot closer:)

You are off to a good start. Are you using a flash? It looks like the zoo's were shot with a flash. Are you familar with the manual controls? Knowing how to adjust the aperture, shutter speed, ISO, etc, will make all the difference in the world.

Blazer I dont know all the manual stuff yet, thats what I mean by I need to learn. I need a Tutor..

Photoshop is also very important, I dont' know if you are using it yet, but I think that it is the most important thing to have to make your pics look nice.

I dont know why but when I try to change the aperture my camera wont let me take pictures is says fEE what is wrong and what do I need to do to fix this problem??

Matt

Matt, you dont' change your aparture with the lense. You put the mode dial on the top to "A" then you rotate the command dial on the back and it will change the apature, and automatically adjust the shutter speed to suit. If you read the manual it will thoroughly explain how to use your camera.
