OK, this sounds like a good plan of action for our club. I'll start my list today...could take awhile. I'd like to take actual pics of each colony and properly name tag them then keep in a separate folder (we need to keep this simple for Floyd, kinda like a picture book ) and Floyd you need to take real pictures of yoour corals with a real camera no Crayon renditions allowed

Easiest way that I've found to keep inventory of my corals is that I have photos of each incoming coral and the common name and scientific name saved in a file. This way I have a photo and the name of the coral right at hand.

Is that coral dead? I dont see any polyp extension and there is a lack of color!

Sorry, the brown thingy looked dead to me.
As to sticks, I once had an SPS colony that grew amazingly fast. Was 1/2" thick fingers, brown most of the time but under actinics was purple. Of course under actinics, an orange looks purple but I digress.

I could only find one name for it at the time and was forced to call it such: "Fuzzy Stick"
After breaking down the 180, haven't seen it since.
