OK I know I have read this in many different threads but I am having a hard time finding them again. I have a DIY stand and a 120 glass tank. Looking under the tank I have noticed some gaps in between the tank and the stand. The gaps are no bigger than 1/16" and are probably smaller since I can barely see any light through them. I however do not want a broken tank some day down the line. I have read many different fixes to this problem but cannot remember exactly what they were. What type of materials do you guys recommend placing under the tank to level those little gaps out?

Go to Home depot or Lowe's and buy a sheet of foam insulation. Cut it to the size of the bottom of your tank. This will level out the tank when you put water in it. (your stand should be as close to level as possible first)
