pink Skunk Clownfish

I went to a new LFS today, and saw two cool looking Skunk Clownfishes. They were the only ones in the tank but they never came close to each other. The owner said they were a pair and wanted 100 dollars for them. Was he tring to rip me off?

It's hard to tell. Were they close in size. Usually the female will become larger than the other. That is typically a good way to tell. If they are close in size I would say they are not a pair. Also mated pairs don't always swim next to each other. Especially if they are new additions and are still under stress. 100 seems high to me though.
