Planning on Going to Seattle on December 11th for PSAS Meeting.

Zul, Phillip and I have talked about going to Seattle for PSAS Club Meeting Decemeber 11th. I know Rick and Barbie talked about going also. There will be a IAP 125 gallon Acrylic tank raffled away. So now is your chance? I believe you have to be a member of PSAS. That cost is $20. I will ask Mtdewman. The raffle tickets are $20 a piece. I will find out asap.

A raffle is being held by Reef Frontiers and will be drawn at the December meeting of the Puget Sound Aquarium Society. The raffle is open to everybody, so join in on the fun.

Larry from IAP will is putting the finishing touches on a great 125 gallon reef ready show tank. You can see the tank being built in stages in this IAP thread.

This tank has a retail value of at least $800 which features:

* Black Back
* Dual corner Overflows
* Euro Bracing
* Coast to coast overflow

The winner will be responsible for all costs associated with shipping, equipping, setup and ongoing maintenance. We estimate the cost of shipping within the US and Canada to be around $150US, but may vary based on location.

The raffle tickets will be $20 a piece. Payable to Reef Frontiers or you can buy a raffle ticket online using our paypal account (click on the buy now button below). Please include your full name, Reef Frontiers name, and phone number when you send the payment. Upon receipt of payment, I will email you your raffle number (especially handy for those too far to pick up the tank in person).

Hey, it looks like I'm going to be up for a road trip next weekend for the Seattle meeting. I'd rather not drive an empty minivan up, so if anyone has extra space, let me know. Conversely, my '03 Odyssey is a pretty comfortable ride if anyone wants to tag along. We've got to make sure we have room to bring back that tank for whichever one of us wins it, though

I'll probably come back Saturday night, since I no longer have a place to crash in Seattle (sold the house) and I'm pretty good with night driving.

No sense in me driving at all if someone else has room in their vehicle, though. Either way is fine by me.

I just spoke with Zul and Phillip. They can not make it. We can take little red car or etc. I was hoping to catch Props or etc and maybe pick up some frags again.
Rico and Lucy are going up but they are spending the night. I was hoping someone else would go up for just the night. I can definitely go halfs on gas. Maybe we can rock the boat a little more and see who pops up.

Let's see who else we can get and then decide which vehicle to take. We can split the gas either way.

I just talked to the Apprentice. He and his wife will be driving up also. They want to follow us if possible. It sounds like six of us so far. I am with ya on working on getting more people.

Zul said he will go if its for a day only Saturday. Props wants to meet earlier in the day. We asked Mojo if Zul could see his tank a while back. If we can preplan it will be a lot easier for all of us. It sounds like the number of people is up to 7 so far. I want to be positive of number of people going before I fill out evite for guest.

Well, my van seats 7, though the back bench isn't so good for tall people. If we only have four then the back will fold down and easily handle that tank that I plan to win
I wouldn't mind going up a bit early to meet with ProPs, and I agree that it would be best to plan this out a bit.

I have been playing email tag with Props. I am pretty sure he is willing to meet us for sharing those frags. He just wants to be on the road early. Canada is a long ways from Seattle area. He asked to meet early. It sounds like a good trip to me. You have my home number and we can talk more about it on Friday at Rico and Lucys Christmas Party. I just spoke with two more people today. We will have another gifted person joining us at Meeting on Friday. I met a guy that makes outstanding Canopys and the best stand I have ever seen for a ninety. I want one..

PSA,Zul, Apprentice what time should we take off. I was thinking 9 or 10 am on Saturday. I know we need to meet Props from 11-3pm. Maybe we can organize more things to do. Zul wanted to see Mojos tank. If we have time for that we need to ask Mojo. I know I am excited to go.
