This is just a little note I wanted to pass on to all here...

As a forum that is really growing and expanding a lot these days, I think it would be really cool if we had a little more RF participation where possible. I know not everyone has all of the answers to all of the quesions (I definately don't have them for sure, but that doesn't stop me from posting ). I know not many people have the time to spend checking out every thread (or whatever the case may be) but sometimes it is just comforting to another member to know that someone cares which can be done by just stopping in and offering a word of encouragement or something of that nature to their threads. I know I've seen on a few occasions threads that have over 20 views and no replies which I'm sure can be upsetting to that person. I usually step in and show my appreciation for that other member by saying something because I knew how I once felt and how it could be sometimes...We've all been there. With over 10,000 members now, I think we could all pitch in a little more and have a really great time sharing info and patting one another on their backs for their accomplishments etc. which is a very encouraging and comforting thing to have in the hobby such as this...I could tell you this , if it weren't for you guys here, I would have given up on the hobby a long time ago! You guys have made things really easy for me, I've made some really great friends here, and I just want everyone to have that same appreciative experience that I've had..Old members and new alike!

So lets participate a bit more where we can...Chuck and Mike have given us a great thing here. Let's make good use of it

I think also it just indivduals circumstance. When my kid was younger i rarely answered threads because i didn't have enough time inbetwwen trying to write down my answer and...getting the kid out of something , comforting her for one reason or another etc. Now that she is a little older my posts have jumped significantly! I think we have an awesome forum here with many knowledgeable people who are more then willing to jump (i mean that literally!) into the situation and help out other hobbyist.
It is also very entertaining when spongebob lover pops off with goof ball comments....i love them!!!

So lets all follow krish lead and start babbling!!!

Really I know how it feels waiting for an answer or for some help, I try when I can, more so when I see a blank thread but man it is difficult when your working 12 or more hours, not supposed to be online & then go home pooped out but still try & help a little, so I guess we're glad there are people like Krish & spongebob, gabby others to at least be a warm body to unanswered post, that is a very good feeling to them & whomever needing help.

Tanks big guy! :idea: we can make Krish unofficial appointed RF greeter!!

I can see where you are comming from about people being sad when nobody replies. That shows me a different point of view.

I normally always think something like, "damnit, if I didnt have to sift through 5 no-content posts for each post with info I wouldnt run out of time so soon and I could see/reply more threads."

But now I am seeing that in a little differnt light.

I know what your saying Krish, and when i was a little guy i used to cry when i see people looking on my threads but didnt post, but like others have said, it could be because they dont know the answer or maybe they just wanted to ask the same question and were hoping someone could answer. But i like your enthusiam. Maybe you should get a doughnut or something

On another note, im a grinch so if anyone sees my threads just breeze past them, i dont like words of encourgements, i think they clutter my thread which i posted for learning something new, i personally only post serious things and always stay on track, but thats just me personally

ROFL! RF freak is more like it:lol: You'd think I didn't work or had a life huh? Only reason I have the time now is because we hired more workers so I finally get a little break at work after 8 years working from 7:45 am to 5:00 without ever a lunch hour and sometimes pulling all nighters till 2 in the morning getting cars ready for shows and also my wife being pregnant and not being in the mood to go out or do anything. I'm sure that will all change when the baby comes or if we open up this Bowling alley. But in the meantime, Think I'll catch Nikki? She's the only one ahead of me in post count! Man I just love helping out and making people smile. I'm cool with how I'm replied to on my threads, but I know of some others who may be a little "bummed out" about their threads which is not so cool with me...So maybe I need to post overtime!
