Poll: How Long Have You Been "Reefing?"

started up in 2000 (I think). Been a while. At some point you stop paying attention to the start point.

How long have you been a hockey fan? I bet you know that!

About 12 years, and I still love it. It's fun to reflect on some of the silly stuff I did while learning.

started weekly bleaching of coral skeletons and murdering fish in the mid 90's(16 yrs) still have one of my first corals a green donut, this hobby is truly fascinating, learn something every day but just can't assemble it all into a success story lol, it would be very unsettling to not have a tank its kind of my answer to prayer sessions for a Pagan

My first saltwater tank was 100 gallon in 1984. From 1976-1979 I was breeding Discus and African cichlids. I got my first live coral in 1987 and the first halide and full coral reef tank in 1996. The picture below was taken in 1997 of my 90 gallon reef tank. I still have most of the corals pictured and the Pink Spotted Shrimp Goby in the bottom left.
