New poll time. Some people use clean-up crews and some don't as they feel what they eat, they poop out so what's the point. Let's see what people are using for their clean-up crew as well as those who don't use anything. This poll will allow multi votes. :)

I voted "None". My last 3 tanks didn't have any clean-up crews. I did have a coral bandit shrimp, but he wasn't added in there to clean up any mess. He was just there to have a shrimp and I like how they look. I relied on good filtration and good husbandry to "clean-up" my tanks. :)

Do you still have room for fish?. I forgot about those filter feeders that come in rocks! I had tons of tube worms!

My kids grew up and moved away so i have to do all cleaning myself.

ROFL!!!

Doih....ive got like 11 fishys! gosh (dramatic talk)! just nano tanks though....20L and a 36bow

I have turbo's,nassarius snails and a but load of asterinas (which my harlequin is taking care of). I like hermits but they kept hunting down snails and killing them.

I have cleaner shrimp and white sand sifting starfish..I was able to keep snails in my tank with no problem UNTIL I added a PT Trigger; now all my snails are gone, but tank is still algae free thanks to the yellow eye and naso tangs. :)

I have a number of critters in all my tanks.
Margarita snails
astrea snails
another small type of snail, not sure what they are
nassarius snails
fighting conch
chittons
elephant snails..aka limpets
sand sifting starfish
tuxedo urchin
mini brittle stars
bristle worms
and recently found a peanut worm.
emerald crabs
scarlet reef crabs
blue legged crabs

I also have a fire shrimp but wasnt added as part of the clean up crew.

I love your screen name...haha...And welcome to RF. Hope you enjoy it here. Looking forward to seeing pics of your system in the members showase forum when you can.

I use serpent stars in my reef tanks and nothing in my seahorse tanks. I have NO snails or hermits or anything like that in any tanks.

Welcome "chickenofthesea"! :welcome:. That is what we use to call one of our rival primary schools at our track meets seeing their real name was Mary Star of the Sea. I won't say what they called us

Nassarius, Turbos, and my Fighting Conch are my favorites of my cleanup crew. The conch has been the best improvement to my sandbed out of all my snails.
