Yeah, we need to see what is going to happen when it gets blown up. We probably can get something like this done through kinkos. Trido do you have the time to burn that to CD, take it to kinkos, have 1 printed at actual size and then, if it looks good to you, have the copies we need printed? Probably the easiest way to get a proof and then prints.

Unfortunately, work is slowing down. Ya, I'll have time.

How many copies does everyone feel we should get? Maybe two per store?
20 total, or is that too many? Actually now that I think of it. Id put one on the wall in my tank room. Maybe we could sell some.

I vote for kinkos to try at least one. We need 10 posters for right now. If it turns out to be correct, we can always print more as needed.

I also agree to give Kinkos a try and see what it looks like. If it's GREAT, then just get another 9 printed.

I have ten posters. I E-mailed the photo to Fedex/kinkos and they changed the format from jpeg to PDF at no charge. Then I went in to get a proof. At 16"x22" the resolution was horrible and the posters would cost near $20 each or $9.00sq. ft. I felt that they were really too big because most of the LFS really dont have alot of big bare walls. The proof was printed on 11"x17" and I felt that was much more desirable so I had her print one at that size. It was perfect. As it turns out, that size is a standard glossy card stock so there is no special set up or cut fees. She printed them and I was done in minutes.

The cost of ten posters at 11"x17" is only $32 as opposed to near $200 for 16"x22".


They are done and ARSA already has theirs..

We alos have a new store in Lacey that is interested in joining our sponsors. I working with him and plan on meeting him hopefully this week.

well, it looks like i missed the boat, but next time i'll hook us up with whatever posters we need. also, what about the whole block of psas cards i designed, has anyone even seen them? i never see them at the stores...
they, like the posters i made for the stores, may have dated info on them now, though... but cards might still be good just because they have the website on them.
i'll put those poster/card pics here too, scince this is the right thread.
i still have the photoshop templates for these and can modify them as we wish

T-shirts too? I was working on a design but needed something more colorful and have not gotten back to it. T-shirt Thread We want to have these made, found a place to get 50 made at $4.74 each, sell them for about $15.00 and any left overs put in the picnic raffle. On Cafe press we only get pennies per shirt.

I think we should do some PSAS Business cards. I have been recruting members and it would be nice to be able to have a business card to hand them.

Cool stuff Mark. You only missed it by days. I really like the "This business is a proud sponsor of" poster. Cool beans T-shirt to. Were these things a regular part of the PSAS? Were the stores real active and supportive in hanging all of those?
My wife still grumbles (she just likes to use it to get things) about making our little poster. If you want to take over advertising its all yours as far as Im concerned.

yeah, we had those sponsor posters in all the sponsor shops, a couple still have them up...we put up posters special for our bbq raffle, and had cards at the stores too. for the most part everyone was on board...i did see the one for SWC in a debris/garbage pile of stuff in their office...lol but andy has always been cold about psas, despite my involvement. andy is pissed because i helped barry who used to manage SWC start a competing coral store "kahuna corals" as some of you might remember, and he tried to threaten that he was going to sue barry...lol, so yeah, ghazni will continue relations with SWC scince he's friendly with andy, mabye you can get him to put up a poster everyone else was happy to display posters/cards...
