Power Compact and Ballast Question.

I recently have to replace a power compact ballast. I am having a tough time looking for the correct type of ballast. Most of the local hardware store does not carry them.

Is there any one in the electrical lighting business out there that can give us some info on how these light work and all the codes info about these lighting system.

I know Lowe's carries a ballast that will power 2 96W PC lamps. I dont know the ballast #'s but will be possibly swinging by Lowes tomorrow. I know it is the biggest one around $40 and the only one that has HO in the ballast #s.
