Power loss tomorrow

Tomorrow Tacoma power is going to be shutting down power in my area for about 6 hrs. I sure hope my tank makes it through this..

Krish, at least the temps are low so it should be fine.

you might pick up a battery powered airstone to help move the water/oxygenate.

If you do not have a backup generator I would at least purchase a battery opperated air pump (found at most sporting goods in Fishing Tackle dept) Six hours is a long time without water circulation. Plus beats standing there with your hand in tank all day swooshing the water around :hand:

Aother nice yet not costly backup is a car battery Backup, for $99 i purchased one that can be recharged in a hout from your car and runs a heater and pump for a few hours...

its going to be warm tomm. just do some manual water movement every 2 hrs it will me fine.

I shut the system down and closed all of the ball valves put the battery operated air pump in and everything was fine. System wa down for almost nine hours.
