If you mount two of them (stacked). Give your self a little breathing room between them. It will help with air circulation and also with some of the adapter plugs that are large and force the wiring to go in one direction.

You can always build an enclosure for them into your stand and put hinges on it so to have access to all the plugs in the back. Very clean and very organized.

Cheers,
Alex

Looks great, Alex! Reminds me of my last setup with twin DJs mounted using Starboard material as a shell.

damn that looks clean i just got one yesterday and built a stand for mine ill add it to my thread once i get a few more toys in that I'm waiting for. But i also like the dj's because the plugs are upside down which is convenient for my timers.

Here are some photos of the box the DJ's are mounted into. You could put fans for cooling if you choose to do so.

Cheers,
Alex

I got unlazy haha i still plan on getting another one. My lights are being ran off of a different dj.

iroll253, Very clean look to it. Like how it just blends right in.

Thanks Alex. I like the convenience factor of the enclosure though that's a really good idea. When i get a larger system Im going to use that. I just don't have much room in the 29's stand so i had to make a testing / fragging / electrical table for it

Im using the dj strip too. I got it from Guitar Center in downtown Seattle for $32. Its width matched up in my stand so one side was in the corner and the other on my mid brace between my doors. Took keep cords organized I took some velcro wire wraps and cut them to the right length, used a heavy duty wall stapler and stapled them to the inside to of my stand and down the back. then just put the cords in, wrap it and its clean. There are some pics on my build thread.

Well Brian, good thread. You made me think that the dj strip sitting in the garage was being wasted so I installed it. I just used a piece of 1/2" plywood, cut a hole it would fit through and screwed it to the inside of the stand.
