Growth means the coral is healthy if it wasn't healthy it wouldn't grow

Aquariumdebacle, do you have any supporting evidence or sources? This seams like an interesting topic to explore. I'm sure the reefing community would be interested to see whether their growth habits actually put their corals at risk.

Barrier reef aquariums (LFS) is supplying us with the corals so we all just pay what the cost is split by 10 or however many people are in the competition...

Wish we could participate but we will probably be doing a tank upgrade right in the middle of this time frame and don't think that would be the best competition environment for the corals. Sweet deal from Cy though.

Although I will not be participating since my angel likes to eat these types of corals, I would like to add my appreciation to Barrier Reef for supporting the PSAS for this contest!

O.K. we have the ten.. SWEET corals will be delivered (picked up) the last week in November..
I will be getting them in about two weeks and then fragging the chalices and letting heal for a week or so. then meeting in he mid sound for everyone to get there stuff..
For an additional ten dollars I can ship straight to your door.
