January 22nd 2005:
Psas is proud to bring you Eric Borneman, well known Author and speaker on a variety of Reef related topics. Eric will be joining us to do a audio and visual presentation on habitat requirements of coral reef
organisms and their often unmet application in aquariums.

February 19th 2005:
A behind the scenes tour of the Seattle public Aquarium. Join us for a tour of the brains behind the beauty that is the Public Aquarium. You get to see the equipment and latest projects beneath the floors of the aquarium. This will be a limited access tour as the aquarium can only handle so many visitors, so first to reply on the envite will make it.

March 19th 2005:
Barry Neigut will be flying in and joining us. Barry is the owner of Clams Direct and is very well versed in the keeping and care of clams of all breeds. Word is that Barry plans to bring a couple of his hand picked clams up to Seattle to raffle off for the club.

April 23rd 2005:
Sanjay Joshi will join us for the night. Sanjay is by far the leading speaker on Aquarium lighting, from the beginnings to a whole host of lighting experiments and his personal experiences.

May 21st 2005:
Anthony Calfo is once again coming west to put the visit on us and give us one of his many presentations. We have not decided if we are going to do it the same style as the last propagation meeting but it might be in the books.

June 18th 2005:
The annual PSAS raffle and barbeque. Should be a great event with alot of prises to win. Not sure on the location yet but I might have this one at my house.

Man, if that doesn't get you excited about joining PSAS then we need to check for a pulse. I'm stoked about that line up.

I'm with you, Reed! :)

Mikey, I'm going to have to drop Tom Wyatt a line. I'll bet he'd come out to visit for the Sanjay meeting. And are you sure you can park that many people at the house?? We're gonna have to run a shuttle from Top Foods, lol.

LOL Alice we had over a 125 last time, I think we can pull it off.

Gordon let me post it up, I am trying to get some of the abstracts to add to each speaker first.

Just noticed January and April are the 4th Saturday not the 3rd. I must have missed something as I thought all meetings were scheduled on the 3rd.

Saturday in January and April are the 1st of the month. I felt it would be better to have it on the 22nd then the 15th. And in the case of April better on the 23rd then the 18th. Also Easter is on the 11th so it gives a little bit more time inbetween. Also it gives us a bit more time inbetween meetings.

Is thier a problem?? or do you perfer to have them on the 3rd no mater what? Let me know now.

Mike

I'm sure it has to do with scheduling rooms Mike. We have to book these rooms out 3 months in advance.

Well if thats the case and we cant get the rooms for the dates listed then I will need to start over on some of them. Getting these speakers to come on particular dates are pretty tough. I dont think Eric will be able to come if we have it a week earlier. Its hard to shuffle.
Let me know asap if the rooms are not available.
