Question about t5 ballasts

I have a Nova extreme 8 x 54 watt unit over my tank for almost three years.
there are four ballasts driving eight bulbs and I just replaced my third ballast does this sound right? anyway is there a better ballast than the one Im using now? its a Sunpak 2x 54ho model and they dont seem to last. I found the Triad brand that Tek uses but if someone knows of a better one let me know.

I guess I'll just try the Triad brand... couldnt be any worse I guess. They should be ok if Tek uses them.

or you could try ballastwise.com. I have a 150w MH ballast from them and it works great.

I have used workhorse ballast and they have worked great. I have used a model 8 to drive 4 36" T5 lamps.

the triad ballasts are going to be better than the chinese current sunpaq ballasts for sure
