Experts,
I got a RBTA from the swap. Just love it. It moves last night to get the best location and now it is far behind the rock of the tank!!!!:?: It is completely out of sight and it seems to be happy with that location. I barely see it without jump on the top of the tank and look down.

Is there a way to move it somewhere in sight ? How bad luck I am!

Thanks.

It will keep moving looking for it's favorite flow, lighting, and often food sourse. Let it rove. When it is closer to where you would prefer, feed it as a reward.

i believe this is a final place for it. I kept watching it until mid night last night. It doesn't move any more. That's what I am concerned. :(

Only one day? Let it be. But if it doesnt move, dont worry and dont move it. Time will come that it will be so big that its the only thing you see in your tank. Have fun with your BTA

One day? I have seen them start and stop and move and settle in just to move again for weeks:eek:ften months! Don't sweat it, eventually it will settle in to a home located much worse than it's current one:p

As James the Wise once said; "be patient, nothing good ever happens fast in a reef tank."

Sometimes it can take several weeks to find their "happy spot." Once mine did, I was able to move the rock it was attached to a lil' to make it easier to view and it stayed where I put it. I think I got lucky. I did feed it shortly after feeding it. Maybe that kept it content.
