I recentley added the prizm skimmer to my nano tank. It has been running for 15 hours now. I adjusted the flow to almost closed because I am getting too much bubbles. Is it normal for a new skimmer to produce bubbles or did I just get a skimmer that will always produce bubbles. Help to clarify this matter will be greatly appreciated.

The bubbles are coming back into the tank. the instructions said to reduce the flow, but I have it almost closed now and the bubbles are still coming back into the tank.

it can take a few days for a new skimmer to "break in", and during this time, some bubbles in the tank are not uncommon. I'd give it a few days and see what happens...

Thanks alot mike. I always see other peoples system running a skimmer without bubbles in the tank. I was just worried about my corals.

Not a problem:D New skimmers usually have some gunk on them from the manufacturing process, and it can take awhile to wear off and start producing good skimmate. During this time, it can be hard to keep them adjusted, and some bubbles in the tank usually occurs...I wouldn't worry too much about it.:D
