2 Tunze of your choice in the back corners on one of their controllers. I think, depending on the Tunze, and whatever cycle you put them on, the opportunities are endless.
Charlie, I was originally looking at the Tunze option, but it would be close to $1K for the setup you are talking about and that seems like a complete rip off to me. I know they are a solid product, but they are overpriced and I can't bring myself to support that practice. For less money I can get 2 vortech pumps that offer more options and more current technology.
If you can. You can also get a sea swirl or wavy sea and attatch a k4 to it and that should give you some good random flow or better yet 2 of that set up one on each corner and I think you would get excellent flow.
Sarang, I used to run the seaswirls, but after an electric shock event I am a little shy of going back. As you know, the way this tank is I really can't put anything through the top in the corners so your proposal really can't be done.
Hey those Koralia's look great! Cubes are a pain for getting a proper flow pattern! Should we look into getting a four way koralia wave maker?
cali, I like the Koralias for price, size, low power, and a variety of other things. my only concern at this point is how many will it take to get enough flow in the tank. I have 2 3's, a 4 and a seio M1100 in there now and I still don't see the flow I would like. I don't want a tank of powerheads, but rather a tank of corals with some powerheads.
What are peoples thoughts on the vortech pump for a tank this size. Could I get away with just one in the back middle? I know I have seen another cube on reeffrontiers running 2 of them, but man that seems like a lot.
Keep the ideas coming. I appreciate all of them.
