Great shots! How big isyours? I've got few smaller ones in my tank.

Thanks Scoot :)

Deb- they're only scary until you get to know them! They're actually really passive and don't do much at all. Their resemblence to giant isopods is a bit unnerving though...

Maxx- they're huge! I think the one has got to be 3 to 4in. I wish I had the little ones too, but I haven't been lucky enough to get any of them on my liverock. I bought these on ebay. lol

Elmo- they kinda look like they're wearing football gear don't they? ;)

Mine came in on liverock and they are between 1 cm and 1mm in overall length.

I can't seem to find the ones with them actually in the wild, but anyways, here's a wild caught one Andrew had in his tank. Apparently all that algae you see in the tank, was all gone after he added a few of these chitons... :)

Did he get that one from Florida? Mine are from Florida? They do seem good for eating algae...

Nope...He got them from right here in the Bahamas. I have tons of pictures in the link in my signature with tons of stuff I've found and caught here in the wild and one of the spots I've taken a few shots at that we go to often has them all over the rocks. Literally hundreds of them you see at low tide when rocks come out of the water:)

nice photos....man that's a big sucker...I have a few in my reef, but they are only about the size of my fingernail....
