This probably isn't the proper place to post this, but I felt it was appropriate. Kevin, aka Khaosinc, passed away, Tuesday morning :frown:

I feel very privileged, to have been able to spend an evening with him, a couple of years ago, getting to know him. My prayers go out to Tink and the rest of his family.

Here's a post, that Tink made, on Kevin's behalf, this morning.

Tink said:
I wanted to let you all know that Kevin died Tuesday morning from a fatal complication of his disease.
The blessing is it was quick and he did not seem aware of the parts that were painful.

I have made a video tribute to him here

And his obituary written by his Mom is here

Thank you for all your support and friendship.
Sincerely,
Tink

ah crap! this just sucks. Never met the guy but you couldn't help but like him from that insane build thread. Very sad to hear this news.

The username doesn't ring a bell . I will have to look it up. Nevertheless, a life lost is not good. I'm am terribly sorry to hear this :doubt:. Every time I hear even on the news that a life was lost my heart aches. Life is so precious and we must try and embrace each day that we have life and give thanks for it. You never know when it is your time nor your loved ones so you should always make sure they know how you feel about them and you live your life honorably to the fullest. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends. :(

My deepest sympathies go out to this young mans family. I could never deal with a loss of a child. I hope that everyone is coping ok.

Sid I just looked and see why the name doesn't ring a bell because as you know, I am like an RF dictionary. He was active here when I was gone for that 2-3 year period and stopped posting pretty much around the time when Scooty brought me back last September as a mod to help out so I missed his time and participation here. Nevertheless, my deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends. He seemed pretty active during a period there here on RF. :(

Amen! I went to a close friend of the families funeral yesterday and one thing that ran through my mind every time I looked at the casket was thinking, "what if that was my child?" I don't know if I can do it. There is a serious bond between a parent and their children that nothing can compare to and my one wish is that I never have to bury either one of my children. I honestly don't know if I could handle it. :(

That just sucks. Unfortunately, those who knew of his medical past. he was a Fighter and cheated death quit a few times. RIP fellow reefer.. May the rest of your days be filled with clean glass and healthy corals! :)

This is so sad to hear. My deepest sympathy to the family. My prayers are with them all and all his friends here on RF.

Feeling sad......had the pleasure to meet this wonderful guy a couple of years back when He purchased a Crosshatch Trigger pair from me. for weeks we went back and fourth in our emails and he finally decided to purchase the Crosshatch Pair from me.I remember him being so excited when the package arrived. the new fish became his Pride and Joy and Kevin would always message me to keep me updated on how his Crosshatch Triggers were doing. I had no idea he had health complications. That explains why I havent heard from Kevin for almost a year. Then I read this post that he Passed away. It brought tears to my eyes.Kevin is such a pleasant man to talk to and out of the many customers I've had throughout the years I vividly remember Kevin and our conversations.Kevin bro you will be sorely missed!Rest in Peace buddy!God bless his family!Aloha Les
