Where can i find a place to buy this water from untill i get the cash together for a RODI unit? been using RO water from QFC machine it goes through like a 7 cycle process in this machine but not sure if its DI....anyone have any places they go thats close to tacoma?

Most reputable LFS can provide you with water. Get out the local phone book, and call around to the stores that are close to you. Brand new gas containers work well for transporting. Good luck!

I think aquarium paradise sells water, but last I heard it was from the seattle aquarium. Try indoor reef. If no luck let me know, Im sure I can spare some water, I think I have two empty 5g jugs in the attic.
I'm going to put in a coin operated rodi and SW dispenser at my shop. Just kidding let me know.

Keep in mind that the water from grocery stores is not DI, just RO. DI water is not drinking water. Get it from a lfs

Why is di not drinking water? Most of the units I've seen for sale have faucet attachments.

Dionized water if drank in large quantities basicl turns your stomach into a ro membrane removing the good stuff from your body. They have faucets but they also have a bypass. This is why the drinking water units at the homecenters dont have a di option. How much you have to drink before it becomes a problem would be huge but I guess if you took it to extremes it could become a issue.
