I have a rose bulb anemone that has lost all its tentacles (disappeared) not floating. the foot is in great shape, color is good, size is good, eats well when hand fed. had him for two months been like this for one. parameters are all good. anyone had this before or know what causes this. thanks

I have had this happen before after a split gone bad. I kept up with feedings and good water quality and the tentacles started to slowly regrow. Today it's back to normal.

is it possible that they are all closed up? do you have a pic of you mean tentacles gone?

What do you mean its lost its tentacles? Did the bubble tips go away?

What do you mean parameters are good? What specifically are your tank's parameters?

Do you have a picture?

more on the rose bulb

no he is not closed up. he closes at night, eats when i hand feed acts normal as any other anemone ive had in the past, only no tentacles. parameters are 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 0 nitrate, ph 8.2, temp 78-80, salinity 1.024, and using tropic marin salt, so it doesnt need any additives. ive kept sebaes in the past no problems so its not my tank, just the healthy acting, looking rose bulb, with no tentacles! any ideas... by the way no fish in the tank bother it, and they didn't fall off and float around the tank, they almost just sucked in.
