I am not having much luck on the other forum, so I will try here...seems there are more on.
:p
Ok, so I think I have a small outbreak of ich in my tank. So, I have began treating with RxP. I am looking for others that have used this product. Those of you that have, How long did it take before you saw any improvement? Did you see any improvement?
Thanks.
Dashia

I have not used it, however I just went thru a battle with ich and used hyposalinty and hospital tank for the last 4 weeks and it cleared up and had no impact on my invertibrites(sp).

I might be able to catch the clown, but the pseudo? No way. Also, they are eating and I almost hate to stress them out! It has been a week that I have noticed the ich.

I do not like using quick fix cures. Its my oppinion that most ich is caused by temperature swings or animal being stressed by something. Its my oppinion if you can do water changes with same temperature/salinity, keep your temperatures stable and keep animal eating he will most likely survive. I am sorry you are going through this.
Sincerely,
Ed

Thanks Ed....I am frusterated. I did a 28 gallon water change on Sunday and had my water tested. While my PH is a little high, not dangerous. Everything else was 0. I am planning on doing another water change, I just don't know now if I should wait until after the treatment, since I already started it.

I replied to your other thread, but for the record ...

For me RxP was a complete waste of time, and did nothing to stop some fish I attempted to treat with it dying. It did nothing to reduce the ich. I think it's a load of bully-bull

Copper in a separate tank did an excellent job of course.
