I got a great tank. So no sad for me.
It took many years to realize I can learn from others here on Reef Frontier's what it took me FOREVER to figure out on my own.

Has your tank Cycled? How long has it been up for? What does the "disease" look like? can you post Pictures? Your nitrates should be as close to Zero as possible. I would do a water change for starters.

I hate to say it, but if the Damsel dies, be happy and get something else once the tank has stabilized. That little fish has the reputation of being the spawn of satan.

yes pictures would help, my bet was the h2o change stressed him out causing it, but pictures would help us all out a lot.

hey everyone still gettin pictures sorted sorry not to good on old camera hahah... as 4 dieseiese bought sum para-cide isolated the damsel and in 24 hrs well and fit... have heard alot from these damsels and there behaviour so will watch closely .. have added a clown fish now and will stop there til stable... tank is cycling in 5 week now but ammonia and nitrite next to zero although nitrate still at 20ppm have been doing two water changes per week blown live rock but still high .... i live in north queensland in cairns so the reek is only 30mins away but was thinking we have these freshwater shrimp living in our coastal waters which in wet season get flushed out to sea turning into we call school prawns.. have thousand of them in freshie tank and clowny and damsels feast on them ,... as well as brine shrimp.. but seeing these shrimp thriving on algae was thinking maybe - putting a hand full in tank have sum living a sea water now to help reduce nitratet any ideas ... thanks all this site is the best help and info ever come across thank you
