So I have cut some acrylic to use as dividers for a 29g sump for my 75g tank. I not really sure how large each section of the sump should be but here is what I have...

Not the best diagram but. i thought for the return pump a 7" lenght, for the refugium section 15", and for the drian a 7" section with the heater and skimmer.

Is this what I should heve or am I way off. Any help is apprectiated.

You know, I almost thought I needed to go back to sleep:p About your dimensions, that sounds pretty good. There is really no set law as to how big a chamber should be so you can customize things as much as you need to. Just make sure your first chamber will support the footprint of the skimmer you will be using as well as the heater and intake tube. Best of luck to ya!:)
