Ok.. So my crappy wholesaler strikes again. Anyone recognize these? I've been sorting through Google images for the past hour and my eyeballs are about to fall out.

Closest I got on this one was a pink banded grub fish, but still not the same. It acts predatory, going after any movement.

And a tiny 1" baby Shrimp Goby of some kind. Anyone recognize it?

Did you not get what you asked for??

The wierd red grubfish looking thing came in marked as a red scooter blenny. The shrimp goby was just under "assorted shrimp goby" sku. I was hoping for more Pink Bar shrimp gobies...

That's some clean substrate....do you clean that Brie

Yessum. I keep the system fairly sparkling. I only get that stupid brown diatom on the glass and decorations.. I scrub each tank down every 2-3 days and bleach decorations once a week.. Each wall unit is probably around 300 gallons so the water quality is typically pretty good, or as good as it can get with the use of tap water.

LOL, Lavender. Don't have cats but have a friend that does. Oh my goodness!

Brie- HURRAY I would clean the tanks too. I am a nebwie as well. I am just older.
I wanted to ask you about sand. I would like to put a little more in my tank. I have a shallow sand bed (very old) and I really would like to put some fine sand in my tank (still shallow) cause I want a goby and pistol fish.

I would like to hear what you think about this.

That fish is also known as a red lizard blenny. Available @ http://reefhotspot.com/store/produc...d=620&osCsid=0b2da578b2b7dfc9881bb9dc9c486bc3
How does he behave? I want one for my tank. Aggressive at all?

I'm not quite sure if the behavior is predatory/aggressive, or just hyper aware and inquisitive. But they seem to check out EVERYTHING. Any movement, other fish, you looking through the glass, anything. Its kind of cute. But yeah, not quite sure how they'd handle other fish, as at work I keep them in the same tank as slightly larger fish, like dwarf angels and clowns. But they are on sale for 7.99 right now. ;)

I really want to know what kind of goby that is. I still have it sitting at work, and kind of want it for my little reef tank. Its cute as hell, and now flags its dorsal fin at everything. Only like 1.5" long.
