skimmer just fit

got the skimmer in the sump barley got about no room at all in there now

does anyone now where the water level is supposed to be in this thing?asm 4x

it doesnt matter where its at inside the skimmer or is that what you are talking about

He is talking about pump depth , the skimmer should be in 8 inches of water to preform at its best. Inside is dependent on your skimming prefrence.

YOu werent kidding on it barely fitting. Sorry about the confusion in depth. Bring the water/bubble level up to near the halfway level in the neck and you should get some nice green tea colored skimmate. Thats a good starting point anyway. If the pic is true to color it looks like that skimmer really has its work cut out for it until it can catch up.

if you are talking about the water color in the sump that is because of the light over the refugium
