Well, my seaclone isnt hanging in there, so I wont be able to get the sump anytime soon. What I plan to do is get an aquaC remora pro with the mag-drive 3 pump, the surface prefilter to help get rid of microbubbles, the collection cup with the drain, and get the 5litre autowaste containers. I heard this skimmer does great with getting out the skimmate, and also there was a reefer from aquarium advice, that his got rid of his cyano.

Danny has one on his 75 and it seems to make alot of skimmate. The only down side to them I see is the pump hanging in the tank. Just my 2 cents. Steve

I'm told that they are the best of the HOB skimmers, I got one of the Prism Pro's which by the way does not have a pump inside the tank, it's completely external. The downside with the Prism is the lousy pump, I found that once you get it adjusted properly I have had no noise problems like some. But I have had to replace my pump twice, my present one is brand new though!

The only thing that I don't like about the Remora Pro is that there is no media basket which I find useful for carbon, etc.

Best,

Rob
