Smoking RBTA Help!!!

On my way to be I made my usual once over on my 55G. I noticed earlier that my RBTA was more bubbly, brighter and fuller today. More than usual at least. During my once over I noticed that it has shrunk like it was "pooping" but had a whistling shaped lips and was smoking from its mouth. I made a quick 10 minute research about it on Google and came to the conclusion that it may be ready to split? I just performed a 10G water change on my 55G (+10G sump). To make matters worse is that my area is testing the electricity from 2am till 5am... now I have to worry about my overflow, water movement and temp for those 3 hours on 2 different tanks (my 55G reef and 100G aggressive).... So any inputs on what may be happening?

Mine does that often when it poops and it hasn't split in about 6 months. So I would guess it is just making poopy.
