Just curious, what counts as a "North Sound Reefer"?

Is there a dividing line, if you're south of exit 170 on I-5 you're out of luck? :becky:

I'm mostly joking but I was curious where the north sound reefers met, I've seen Everett, is this about central? How does one become a North Sound Reefer?

Thanks,
Jim

If you're wearing a blue bandana you're North Sound. If it's red, South Sound. Better not get caught wearing the wrong colors in an LFS. It gets pretty ugly!

Yup and if its Flannel your stuck with the red neck reefers.

Hey Jim, there is no real division line just that for quite a few of us it was not very feasable to attend most meetings in the Kent-to-Tacoma area being a 1.5 - 2.5 hour travel time each way. So Jeff (DolphinLvr) and I proposed a Northsound Chapter to the PSAS, which did not go over very well (water under the bridge). We created the North Sound Reefers primarily as a regional network of reefkeepers to help out/teach/learn/share/coral bank and socialize. We try and have Get Togethers about once a month and schedule them differently from PSAS meetings as most of us are also members. You are more than welcome to attend and/or join us any time (no fees or tangible benefits such as LFS discounts). Are goal is to keep it simple and fun plus hopefully gain friendships even outside of reefkeeping.

Cheers, Todd

Anyone want to swap locations with me for a bit??? I'd love to have a bit of cool weather for a bit. Not rubbing it in, it is just too hot here right now! I roasted today while to work!! :doubt: We are hitting close to 90's already plus it would be cool to meet some of you guys face to face. So what do you say??? :)

Krish,

Keep your heat (and humidity).

I lived in this most my life and enjoying the cool no humidity weather of the great Pacific NW. :D
