Whoo hoo, stand looks good and so does the tank. We are building the coast to coast right now and will have the tank ready to go soon. :)

Absolutely, Scooty! Brian at IAP told me they are working on the coast-to-coast now, so the tank is getting close to being done. Very exciting! :)

We got all the parts for the closed loop manifolds and drain today! Will post some pictures when we get the tank and have the CL installed with Mike's help! Getting closer all the time!

Looks like we may get over there Saturday to pick up the tank and come see you, Mojo - sent you a PM! Thanks!!

Darrell, it has sure helped us (my hubby is Darrel too) to see pics of Nikki's closed loop. I will be taking some pictures when Mike and Darrel work on our closed loop and will hopefully be able to post them Sunday or Monday. A picture is worth a thousand words (and several avoided mistakes!). Hope that will be helpful to you as well. Tank design is pretty exciting - but I will be even happier when we actually have it holding some saltwater and eventually some fish and corals! :D Patience is certainly the key (as we hear over and over again on RF!)

ill be waiting Vicki as i will probly do the design as you and Nikki did

Hey Vicki, don't be shy to post some pics of all the pieces & progress of it while it is being put together, this can be very helpful, ehh if you have the time that is!

Will do, Scooty! Darrel can do the "real" work - putting the plumbing together, and I'll play Ansel Adams and get those pics posted. I think seeing pictures of Nikki's set up, as Mojo put it together, was really helpful for us; so posting pics of our process as we do each step might really help others. It is always fun to see one of Mojo Mike's plumbing design masterpieces come together! :D

Hi Vikki,
Awesome tank you have there!I guess by now you have it up and running. Can you please update us with pics.I'm very interested in the design as this is the exact dimension that I'm thinking on building given the limited space that I have.

Mike,
Can an AGA handle all the I/O holes at the back otherwise I'm thinking of drilling the base of the tank and let it come out of the overflow box which means extending the overflow height to the bottom eating up valuable real estate. But this way you get to have a clear the back of the AQ of plumbing.Cheers!!!

Joey, wish I could say the tank was up and running...sadly, it isn't yet. My husband has been working 7/12s for several weeks now, so the tank sits in the gararge with unfiinshed plumbing, but we are hoping to get it going yet this summer. I will post some pictures of the finished tank, but in the meantime, this is what we have. I plan to take pictures as we complete the plumbing. It is a nice size tank and will fit our display space perfectly. IAP did a great job on the tank itself and Mojo designed and drilled the closed loop. We just have to get the thing finished - that thing people always say about patience...well, I'm sick of being patient, but that is what it takes for sure!

Patience!!!!The key word of the nature of the REEF.....your almost there but again not yet.....Thanks for posting a peak of your project....I'm looking forward to it as it is coming to life this summer.

Joey
