stoped by barrier the other day and got everything tested when picking up some carbon for sure need to get a new set of test kits heh...
calc. 380 (not too low)
alk 8
mag 1280 compared to 1050 or so that mine was testing at....
phos 0
amon. 0
nitrite 0
nitrate (15-20....color loss is possible cause.....)
ph 8.2
only real issues i see is the nitrates...which makes sense when it had all fresh new saltwater in the tank a few months ago for atleast the first month or so nitrates where undetectable and everything had amazing color now with nitrates everything is starting to dull out...did a small change last night and cleaned out the fuge/sump and mixed up another 35gal. for a change tomorrow seems like water changes is the best way...just doesnt seem like even a 20gal change drops nitrates that much...anything else i can do? possibly get a larger cleanup crew? as of right now i probably have 25 snails, 2 conchs and 2 shrimp as a cleanup crew was allways told 1 snail per gallon....just hadnt gotten them all yet heh
