Mike...I know we sold a ton of Calfo's stuff last year. Did Steve bring any of his with him for sale last time? I don't remember that. Then again...I'm getting old and they say memory is the first to go.

Hmmm...but I do seem to remember that someone is going to be even older than me again pretty soon!

I know Steve provided some discount to the Mid Columbia club when he sold his books over there, so I would think he'd do that here too. The CDs I don't think he was discounting because they are still pretty new. Worth a try though.

Here are the directions BCC sent me. Anyone hear from Jeremy to see if he is bringing a back up projector???? Also, am I bringing drinks again or not???

To get to B104 from the parking garage you would head south towards the
B building that is close to the A on the map of BCC parking lots.

B014 is on the first floor and close to the Flag circle. There are "you
are here" signs located all over campus and on the walls there are
directional signs with the room numbers (just like in hotels!)

Please look at the Parking Map on the website. It is the best map - I
use it everyday for reference. Since it is Saturday evening may I
recommend parking lot E2. It is closer to the room. Or 4B. Both are a
short distance to the B building heading west from each of those lots.

Oh crap....I can't make this meeting either. I just talked to my sister in Portland and I have to go down to take care of some stuff with my mother next weekend. I have to work the next two weekends after the meeting as well as running the office at work single-handedly for those two weeks so next weekend is the only time I can go.

I'm so sorry you guys! Everyone at work is taking vacation time before they lose it in the buy-out but I had managed to keep next weekend clear for the meeting. If I could put this off until I finally get to take my vacation in November, I would, but I just can't.

I think we just want to make sure we have a backup just in case. You never know what could happen and we wouldn't want to leave Steve without a projector if it's a big part of his presentation.

Well since we haven't been there yet, I'd like a backup if it's possible. There isn't anyone to call for help since it's after hours so we are on our own. Plus, I have not a clue about figuring it out...

Chuck or Gordon are familar with the unit. Do you think you could phone them earlier in the day to comfirm it will be thier??

I already asked twice... she thinks i'm paranoid or something.

I said I just wanted to be sure because if anything goes wrong mojo might fire me from my job and I wouldn't be able to feed my children.

Also, there aren't that many drinks left and Gordon said not to worry about it.... if anyone has other ideas speak now!

I can usually figure out almost any A/V equipment. I'll be there at 6:00 to make sure the stuff is working. I'll also make sure we have a backup projector just in case.

Can you find out Steve is bringing? Laptop, CD with presentation? Will he need sound of the presentation?

I am not sure on the sound Gordon, usually they just talk with out a microphone, but I am not sure how big this place is.
He presentation is on cd and he has a laptop, chuck is also bringing a back up laptop.

Ok last minute details. Steves laptop is broken so we need to make sure chuck brings his. He says its just a slide presentation and if you have XP it should be no problem, projector is a must to.

We are going to need all the membership stuff also so we can get new members that were not at the frag swap.

If any of you are on the eastside the conference coodinator said she'd like someone to come do a walk thru. Well, I've been working with her for two freakin months and on the day before I can't just get over there. So, does anyone work on the eastside that would like to check out the equipment? She says it's good to go..... no passwords required.

I truly apologize for not being there. But I can only get pulled so many ways at once and these last couple of weeks I have been ready to *snap*.

I think after I see Mom and my sister (the *itch) and sign all of the paperwork she needs me to sign I may need to have a drink...or two.

I'm not on the east side, but I could give them a call and they could talk me through the setup. Do you have a name and number?

Just a heads up, the datebook listing did run in the paper yesterday. I'm rather PO'd though since they did quite a bit of editing and took out any mention of Steve's name and the room number at BCC. Dang newsroom editors. The listing does have Alice's phone number and refers to the website though.

I'm leaving for Portland shortly but as the number I listed is my cell, I'll print out the necessary info, take it with me and answer any calls that come in regarding the meeting.

You might want to put up some directional signs around the college, just in case though.

Woohoo... someone is coming at 6pm to show whoever is there how to run the setup. Scott and I will be there at 6pm, hopefully between the two of us we can figure it out. I'm sure I sound really stupid. I can, however, operate a microwave or else we would all starve.
