OMG DOODS!!! i got there 11 mins after 10 and the place was packed ....seriously...i can't believe how many people were there:eek:...i could see Mark, Cy (i believe) and Tim just running around and attending people .
I only got a bucket of salt, 2 things of Elos carbon and a little free sample of coral frenzy :D...which by the way ..thank you very much :)...i will give it a try :D.

By the way...who said Hi to me outside the store :p:D.

Talk about a frenzy...geez. Hey Gabby that was dieseldave(wearing a hat) and me (blonde guy) that said hi to ya. Nice to put a name w/ a face!:) I liked mike's idea (herefishyfishy) that maybe next time there is a big sale we can all wear name tags with our name and screenname so we can put a name w/ a face:D I got there at about 10:30 and saw all the cars hoping that the dentist was having a special on teeth cleanings.:) I just want to give a big thanks to all the guys at BR for providing your customers with courtesy, knowledge and some great deals on pretty much everything in the store! I'm already looking forward for the next big sale!

LOL!!! awesome dood ...i tried asking you what was your name doods but i don't think you guys heard me :p.

ya i totally agree.... thanks doods !!! you guys had the best deals i have ever seen !!!...... even my husband wanted to go back because he saw (what i call the fish he's in love with :p) a baby clown trigger and he wanted it ...bad:rolleyes:.
one thing that you guys could have done is ..... well may be a few cookies here and there :p:D....j/k

ya the store was insane, i got there like 10:45 i think and was there till 12:20 first couldn't decide what i wanted to get exactly then finally got in line to actually get stuff but amazing prices

yeah, that was pretty crazy!!! you guys were really patient with the 3-4 of us:):) i hope everyone found something they liked;)

there's actually alot of stuff left, especially coral-wise, and we still have a decent amount of fish as well, and it should be alot more mellow today if you didnt want to deal with a crowd of crazed coral shoppers...

ya i liked all the stuff i got, the 7 blue/green chromis were eager to come to my hand to eat about 20 mins after i put them in, the anthias hid a lot at the beginning but started searching my lower rockwork after a couple hours,
i haven't seen my cleaner come out yet
though you advised against the rainbow monti's mark, i went ahead and got one and some red polyps came out with the green that i didn't see before, looks like it's going to do good.

I picked up a nice little frogspawn frag, a cleaner shrimp and Elos test kit. Great prices! Thanks guys!

Next time I hope they do the "Take a number" help system. It was a bit crazy in there.

I may go back today. :)

Damn! Missed another sale!

looks like i missed one again! Did not have any luck with those 2 fish this week si! Call me when you get a chance!:D!

awesome dood :), for how long did you acclimate it?

Salsaking...you have PM and I will call.

Thanks everyone for making this event such a success!! I couldn't be there for the sale but Tim told me it was incredibly busy. We really appreciate all of your support.

We look forward to having our official Grand Opeing Sale later this summer/fall. We will be bringing in a special guest or two to rep their products. Should make for a very fun time.

i acclimated the rainbow for like an hour or so, i acclimated my fish to my other tank for a longer time since i only have one bucket at the moment for acclimating/water changes

where did you place it dood? i now have mine almost at the very top :p and it seems to be improving :) .

It was busy but what would you expect with a sale like that. I was the first one in the door. Had to make sure that i got my pair of leopard wrasses. I was probly the biggest pain in the butt as well since the leopards werent up yet and Tim had to dig for them for like 30 mins with no luck. :D Thanks again!

And by the way, the leopards are doing awesome.

I would love to hear the ELOS rep...and have him/her raffle off an ELOS system :D

uhhh an Elos system eh .... that'd be totally awesome :D, but since i suck at winning things, then it wouldn't matter :( :p .

Jesse with Elos is one person we are working with in hopes of having him here for our grand opening sale later this year. You bring up a good question...would people buy raffle tickets for a complete Elos System 70 and what kind of pricing for tickets would be fair. I've never done a raffle. I see the PSAS charges $20 for their tank raffle. Is that reasonable for a $3000 Elos System...too much...too little?? I'd love some feedback:)

I'd buy at $20/ticket...it's probably worth more than that but I can't see myself purchasing one higher.

If it was a donated item I would not have a problem buying a ticket if I knew the proceeds were going to some worthwhile cause. If it was something out of the stores pocket, NP either (as long as you can sell 150 tickets).

Just let people know this information up front.
