I saw on Anthony's poster of clownfish and anemones something about lining the tank with carpet. Is this outdoor carpet? Is this so that the animals can be removed easier? Details please!!!

Thanks,
Greg

I'm considering seting up a propogation tank for bubletips and was wondering if using "carpet" is a good choice for the propogation tank because of easy removal. Is this the case? What kind of carpet?

Thanks,
Greg

There are lots of great links in the "Stickies" section at the beginning of the forum that have LOTS more info on anemone propagation and many other great reads.

Beyond that, what is being referred to is "indoor/outdoor" carpeting. Some people use astroturf type material and some people use more of a carpet-like material. The anemones can attach, but are easy to remove without damage. Also, they are easy to remove and clean. You should wash them well to remove any residue on them. I've seen people run them twice through the washer without soap to remove any soap.

HTH!

Josh
